Weird driver window interaction
Weird driver window interaction
Hey, so I noticed that whenever I open the door to my car, the window rolls down just a bit. If I close the door and reopen it, it rolls down a bit even more. Here is a video displaying this: https://streamable.com/rgkf7f
Also, I've noticed that whenever I have the door closed and car on 'ON', the window will not go up unless I close the door, but even then when I turn off the car and open the door to exit my car, it rolls down a little bit.
As shown, this can be problematic if rain drops fequently enter my side doors. Thanks for the help.

Two things: try the window reset procedure and check that the door jamb switch is clean and tight. This link shows both: Window Reset.
Not to beat you up but did you fully check the history of this car and have a pre-purchase inspection performed before you bought it? Seems you are having a ton of problems with the car and you've had it less than a month.
Wouldn't hurt to check for water under the carpet. A lot of electrical problems can stem from this issue.
Good luck getting everything sorted.

Yeah, I did get a PPI and, although I wish he would've done it more in-depth, I kind of knew that the 100k maintenance was needed (and possible galley gasket). Only reason I went through with it was due to the price I got it at compared to other cars that I've been looking at for the past few months. Currently, I feel like my P0340 code is a result of the encoder ring on the camshaft gear slipping, so I'll try to get an accurate diagnosis and pay for it (along with galley gasket & water pump), because I'm really not tryna deal with it lol. Some person on Reddit said it could be my timing chain, but I'm thinking it has to do with my encoder ring more
