Coolant Hose Clamp Questions

Hello all. I recently purchased some Mishimoto Silicone Radiator Hoses. I also purchased Mishimoto t-bolt hose clamps for said hoses. TBH, the clamps look like garbage. Any suggestions on STRONG and pretty hose clamps? I’d prefer not to install anything like these tin foil garbage clamps that I will be returning. Mishimoto site says the hoses outside diameter is 1.65”, just about 42mm. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I use HPS hose clamps. Go here: Home page.
Good luck.

These do look really nice. Are you sure 1.5” will fit Mishimoto or other types of silicone hoses?

Sorry, was so focused on the clamps, I ignored the hoses. If you click the item, it'll tell you the min and max size of the clamp. With the stock hose, there is a good bit of room to go larger.

Mishimoto says the hose is 1.65” outside diameter, which is just under 42mm. P2M says 42 to 44mm. If they will hold pressure on a stock hose, sounds like they will work fine on these Silicone hoses.

This looks great. I am ordering these, can’t decide on which color. Also, did you install 4 for the radiator hoses, or just the ones you can see? Thanks for the pic too.

Hahaha! I didn’t even think about my silicone intake elbows. I currently have the t-bolts that came with them, but I may just have to order these clamps for them too. Thanks so much for recommending these. I will post up a pic after install.

These are worth a look. If you want something quality and discreet without any blatant aftermarket logo. They feature an extra band off of the screw end that completely covers the toothed part of the band from the hose and are a bit wider than a basic clamp. I think IDEAL TRIDON makes them, HQ in Smyrna TN. Also can search Idealtridon.com

sizes .25" through 9" all stainless

Thanks Justin. These look really nice too. I may order a couple to have on hand and compare to the others I ordered, see which I like best. They look very heavy duty.
