The difference between DIY and dealer parts+install is enough to buy me a danish and coffee at home for a year!

Wait, you guys get free coffee and danish? I'm lucky to get a free bottle of water!

Plugs are not the easiest DIY on this car but for the average backyard mechanic they can be done in about a hour or so. Just do one plug at a time so you don't mixup wires and screw up the firing order.

What about replacing the plug wires? Suggestions, opinions?

Spark plugs shouldn't be too difficult. Have you done a search on a DIY? It'll save you 2 hours worth of labor cost. Plus you get the satisfaction of learning one more thing about your car.

So it's really $40 a pop for spark plugs?

Jeez, for that kinda money they need to serve something a bit stronger than coffee and danish...
