Nice review and write-up, thanks for posting this! You have a nice flat torque curve there. The G sounds great - how do you like those Tanabe's?

Good to know it evened out the shifts of the 7AT and removed the delay. That is ideally what I am looking for in addition to improved throttle response.

Have you been able to gauge any idea on fuel savings(if normally driven)?
I honestly can't speak on fuel economy as of yet. The tune was completed yesterday at around 1345 (1:45PM) and I've kinda been toying around a bit, not really driving "normally" LOL. I will post a follow up though.

The Tanabes sound great but they didn't have near the volume they have now until I installed the Kinetix HFCs. They made a HUGE difference in sound.

Thanks for the compliments G community.

Probably too early to tell, but how did your mpg get affected?

Give me a week or two. I'll be able to elaborate more on the tunes effects.

Doh.. Missed that comment.

Similar tunes were done to my bikes in the past. A leaner economy map in the lower rpm/tps areas, and more/performance based in others.

MPG actually improved!

Quick update for those interested. After a week of driving "normally" with the tune in I have found that the fuel economy has improved! I was getting around 18MPG city and
23ish MPG hyw. Was averaging about 300 Miles/ tank. Now I seem to be getting 20 city with 26 or so hwy. Just got 340 miles out of the tank this week. +1 for Uprev

It's better than what it was, so I am not complaining. My fourth gear while manually shifting just pulls it's @ss off too.

^ Thats awesome.. Do each of the manual gears respond better, not by overall horsepower, but in terms of pedal response?

I use manual mode(paddles) alot and I notice in the lower rpms of a given gear it tends to stutter before the car picks up speed. Wondering if this specific issue is alleviated?

Too bad for me, I won't be doing much breathing mods to take advantage of such a tune I don't think.

The tune cleared up my tranny shift stutters and gear searching issues. This alone made the price worth it. I've been manually shifting in DS mode for about 3 weeks now and the shifts are quicker now, the same holds for just leaving it in D. Uprev makes a good product, and the tuner knew what he was doing.

Plus 1 for me as well. Uprev really made my G37s vert come alive.
I just added the Stillen Gen 3 and had the tune.
Before was 261.43 and 220.99 TQ after tune and intake 286.89 and TQ 248.77
It really drives great now and it was done a Dynojet.
Shifts great and really comes alive above 3k.
May get some HFC and that's about it.
