Engine rev when stepping on clutch

hi everyone, I purchased a 08 G37 6mt with a new clutch installed by the used car dealership. I have driven it for 2600 miles now and noticed that when I step on the clutch without giving it gas, put it in gear, the rpm revs up a few hundred rpms. If I gas it when I put it in gear, it drives normal although the engine revs up a few hundred rpm when the clutch is pressed in. This is going from 1-2 & 2-3. Doesn't feel like a slip.

If I don't put it in gear but step on the clutch, wait, then put it in gear, no engine rev.

Is this normal? THANKS

Yeah I noticed this on my coupe too, when I'm moving and you clutch in the throttle blips itself up like 100-200 RPMS
