Car jerked on the way to work, help!

Hello -

I have a 2010 G37X coupe and today on the way to work - as soon as i got to 80km my car started jerking and the RPM started going up and down slighly.. everytime i pressed the gas it jerked my car pretty hard. I lowered to 20km/h and accerlerated again to 40 and same problem happened - kept jerking my car. My windows were closed but it seemed it was louder than usual.

I pulled over for 5-10min, turned off my car and started driving after and it was fine.. was able to go +100km with no problem.

Can anyone tell me what that was all about?

Thanks,

Maybe an ecu problem tied to the MAF sensor? If something is screwy, your car revs oddly.

Get an OBD reader or use someone else's and read the code. Then look it up on Google and see what the issue is. Then you know what needs to be fixed.

No message popped up so the OBD reader is useless. It happened a few times already with no messages saved.

Similar thing happened to me, but I do not think it is related. I put a cup down into the cup holder and accidentally engaged the "snow" button.

The title of this thread reads funny.

Behavior like that without any code is weird...
