G37x Coupe horrible mpg??
Yup I only warm up till idle drops... my audi tech told me to NOT warm up my A6 back in the day. Dont think it much matters so long as you poke along at first when you leave and wait to punch it a few miles down the road
I turned in my 2010 G37x Sedan for a 2013 G37x Coupe in the winter and the gas mileage is slightly better in the coupe. I was only getting 18 mpg in the sedan and I'm getting more like 19+ in the coupe and I like to keep it in DS mode to hear it downshift as I'm braking.
Your mileage sounds less than average so I'd check for any issues.

I am a very aggressive driver in Mass. I commute 7 miles each way, mostly city, 2 exits on the highway. When I'm traveling on the highway to Boston or NH, I'm going between 100-130...I get about 18.4 Avg MPG according to the Infiniti computer
Where do you live? In Ontario, Canada we have winter gas and summer gas.
I get 450-550 kms (275-375 miles) per tank and in the summer. I get 400kms (250 miles) per tank in the winter. Winter gas is full of additives.

I have no idea what a mpg is *kidding* but currently I'm using 12.9 litres/100km, which I consider to be horrible mileage. In the summer I can get it below 10 L/100km.
During summer and doing pure highway driving, such as on a long road trip, I can go over 800km on one tank. Cruise control and never going above the speed limit is the key.
Others have said it many times before, but if you buy a car like this you shouldn't be worried about gas mileage, although it would be awesome if it did better. My last car was a civic and it got at least three times better gas mileage; but it was slow as shít. See my point?
