This. The vast majority of complaints and outrage are from people who aren't even involved in buying anything and haven't bought anything. Some is form actual current and former customers, which is legit. But I'm at a loss as to why some of the most vocal complainers are people who aren't involved. It was so much that it got the 370Z forum thread shut down.

I personally am a little annoyed at how long it's taking, but not that much. I was at first. But to some degree it's expected by people who are realistic that there will be some delays. My greatest problem with the situation is the lack of consistent updates with information on progress. I understand that there may not be any new news on when it'll be ready. That's OK with me (to a point) so long as you don't duck my phone calls, ignore emails, lie, or make excuses. If there is information, share it with everybody who's money you are holding, not a select few customers or those who are local and can pin you down face to face. I'm confident that the product will be good. The process of getting it is horrible.

I agree with the customer service. I only put 30% down, but I'm coming up on the time frame when the rest is due.

I spoke with Sam 2 weeks ago, and he said he would email me pictures and details later that day as he was busy. I emailed him a few days later as I never heard back. I then called and spoke with Blake who told me Sam and Pablo are the only ones that can help me. I left a message for a callback (this was 5 days ago) and I have still not heard anything back.

Really a bad experience thus far. The only thing they have been quick with was taking the order and cashing the check....

Just to update anyone who was following where GTM was at.

Finally got Sam on the phone today, his phones were blowing up - must have put me on hold 4 times to put other people on hold.

He said the lack of updates has been because people will just get angry that the update won't include delivery dates. He hopes that the next update will have delivery dates on when the first kits will go out. He had hoped that this would be in the next 2 weeks. Based on the timeline so far, I will wait and see.

I spoke with Sam over a week ago and also exactly one week before that (calling after 1am from Australia :| ). Both times he promised that there would be an update within the next 2 days. I followed up with an email which basically said "no long response needed, please just acknowledge this email"......no response...............I wouldn't hold your breath!

Edit: I also have PM's from George dated 10th Feb saying that things would be sorted within 4-8 weeks......$100 bucks says that time will make him a liar.......

Thanks anyway Sam!

According to Sam (@GTM) they are still waiting on the final cast parts to be delivered and tested. Pipe bender is all good to go though and they have all of the other parts on the shelf.

Whether that is true or not, who knows.

2 weeks came and went...Looks like I'll continue to sit here in the dark. Very disappointing.

Frustration now at an all time high. Called and talked to Pablo....all he can do is take a message.

Told me to keep calling and emailing as he said Sam probably won't call back. Does anyone live near this shop?

Well it looks like at this point GTM are not likely to deliver products at all or give anyone a refund from this GB. At least that's my opinion.

They filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy back in June.
