No he did not. And as a matter of fact, he said that my gas mileage may be bad due to an O2 sensor that's reading a 20% difference from the other. He told me which one and I'll be replacing it soon.

Only thing they did physically to my car was tie it down to the dyno. Other than that, all work was done on a computer inside the car on the dyno and one drive after.

I was looking through old threads, so here's a belated update.

I've had these cats installed now for 16 months. No CEL. Not even once.

I'm glad they don't throw Cel, though the real question is would it be able to pass emission, especially in Northern Va? I don't know if they do sniffer here but we have emission every two years and it's annoying af.

It looks like Virginia still does tailpipe analysis. Wow. Sucks for you, man. According to this, they also check for OEM emissions equipment, which I can only infer to mean you need your OEM cats installed.

You may want to dig into this for solid answers before modding your exhaust.

I had FI resonated high flow cats and cat back for two years and passed emissions and inspection no problems whatsoever. no CEL as well. I'm in Northern Virginia too.
