Why is that my 2011 sedan is up on a hill (driveway)when I press the brake and want to move the automatic shifter from park to reverse its hard but when it's on a leveled surface it's really easy and soft?
You've got the weight of the vehicle putting torque on the drivetrain. If you park on a hill it's best to firmly apply the parking brake, then shift from drive to park. When starting the vehicle, put the vehicle into gear then release the parking brake. This will minimize the load to the transmission/linkage. Even w/ the parking brake applied there is typically more effort to engage the transmission when on an incline.
