ECM replacement for all Infiniti models later than 2004

Referring to the link for ITB12-018, it seems that all Infiniti cars made after 2004 need to get the ECM replaced. My dealer in China does not know about it. Has anybody done it? Does it do anything to improve the 7AT issues?

That sounds like procedures to be followed IF, IF, the ECM needs to be replaced for some reason.

this isn't a recall replacement. the ECM has to actually fail... this is just instructions on how to reinstall the unit properly.
