Idle problem

Here's is what I'm experiencing... While idling my car will shoot up Rpms on it's own. This happens when I'm in reverse gear or when the a/c is on or the heater is on.

It was suggested to me that I go to the dealer and get an idle relearn. I did that and my car was working perfectly. Then a couple hours later the same problem occurred. I was so mad that I wanted to drive my G straight into the lake.

I called the dealer today and they told to bring the car in for further diagnosing. I'm trying to avoid going back to the dealer as I am not made of money. Has anyone faced the same problem and had a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

check the throttle bodies for that black build up and clean it with throttle body cleaner if you have to. And make sure you dont hace a vaccum leak.

sounds like a vacuum leak. check all the hoses before taking it in to the dealer. I doubt it's carbon build up in the TB's.
