Check engine light gremlin from hell

I installed my takeda intakes and after about 500 miles I get P2A03. I have tighten everything on the intake . Everything is fine on my exhaust and no leaks anywhere . I do have stillen headers and those have been on the car for 3 years . I cleared the code and 500 miles later it's on again . I rechecked everything . Cleared again and guess what ? 500 miles its back . Any suggestions on this freaking gremlin ? Thanx ..

I'm pretty sure P2A03 is related to an O2 sensor so my guess is the headers. P2A00 and P2A01 are the O2 sensors on the cats and 02 and 03 are the sensors on the headers if i recall.

Not sure. Maybe the extra air from the intakes was enough to set it off? When I put my HFC on the sensors for those kept coming on the same way so I just disabled that code when I got my tune done.

^ thats what im thinking, cause if the O2 sensor was bad it would come on much more often after a few miles and not after ~500mi imo, you need a tune to adjust the AFR imo

I agree. If it was a bad sensor it would come on way more. I had a tune . I just can't figure this thing out..

did u get a tune after the intakes? if not then that could be the issue, but if you got the tune after the intakes then it is a bit confusing for sure

Your fault is either caused by a leak at the header to cylinder head (bank 2), header to Cat flange (bank 2), bad upstream O2 sensor (bank 2) or your bank 2 MAF sensor is malfuctioning.. if you know someone with an UpRev cable and the Cypher software you could compare MAF and O2 signals with bank 1 to narrow down your issue..
