G37 S Idle Issues

What should the g37 S coupe typically idle at when its warmed up? My 08 sport idles between 850 and 1k after about 15 min of driving and it sometimes fluctates over 1k for a brief period of time. Is this normal and/or what would cause this? Thanks.

Mike

Dirty throttle bodies, should check them and cleaned every 15k interval or so with throttlebody cleaner. click on link for DIY

Correct idle is 600 +-50 rpm iirc. Check/clean those throttle bodies. I gotta get around to doing mine soon.

So the idle issue is basically an ECU update? I asked the dealership and they stated that its normal (which was a quick response), go figure. However, when it happens it seems as though power is lost by a much noticable amount in the lower rpms.

I cleaned my TB 2 weeks ago and it did not solve the issue. The TB was dirty though at 42k.

Clean the MAF sensors and the dealership has to recalibrate the idle. It's a machine they hook into the OBDII sensor port.
