I read somewhere that for 2011 G37x sedans, if we go to the dealership/ Infiniti's service department we can get the ECU updated to the IPL version and get an extra 15 hp, for a price of course, is this true?

 

I highly doubt they would do that at the dealership.

 

If they did you can count on me being there 1st thing in the morning! LOL!

 

Where did you read this? ...very very interesting if it was possible.

You're better off with a custom UpRev tune and besides, I would say around half of that IPL 15hp comes from the less restrictive catback

 

I hope this applies to 2010 as well if it's true. I'd pay to get the extra 15. Subscribed.

 

i highly doubt its true.. the IPL gets most of its power with the bigger catback...

cobb dosent do tuning anymore for the G you have to go with uprev

 

^actually have a software tech working on something.
he handles the gtr tuning@cobb.
you are correct they don't support the 2010& up.
dealer did a reflash & lost my tune after I uninstalled.
will post solution.
