Injen Long tube CAI on 2011 G37 Sport

Does anyone know if the Injen CAI will fit on the 2011 Sport with the fog lights?

Very good questions, but I dont think so as I heard the washer fluid tank was a bit different due to the fog lights. Havent heard of any member here w/ injens on a '11 G.

Thanks for the feedback. I just rolled my '08 into a new 2011 lease. Pulled my Injen out of my '08 to put in the '11. Is there anything different I need to do on the install?

You could either be your own guinea pig or contact Injen to see if anything has changed

To be safe, you should probably contact Injen unless you are feeling brave with the new G

I don't believe so. I actually already have the Injen long tubes on my 2010 sedan. They fit right in. The initial issues I had with fitment were my fault; didn't take the time to remove EVERYTHING (duh). My long tubes came off a friend's '08 coupe. You'll be fine -- you won't have to modify anything to install. Enjoy!

James, you're a Sedan.
It wont work on Coupes, I have the 2011 fogs in my 2010.
Looking at another member's picture, I can tell the bottle is too fat at the bottom,

Hit it with a heat gun and mold it to the shape you need it. It shouldn't damage the bottle at all. We're only talking a slight modification here, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Just don't hold it too close to the bottle less u burn a hole in it.
Good luck.

Good idea with the heat gun. I wanted the power more than windshield washer I just left mine off. 10 months with mine installed loving it dont miss the washer, but I'm going to try the great gun mod.

Hi, I realize this is an old thread but I am considering putting the injen long tube cai (sp 1997) on my sedan, have you had any water issues with the filters being so close to the ground ( with or without hydraguard pre filters)?
