Hey Guys,

Just wanted to drop in here and post up real quick. Obviously seeing as how fresh this is, we're looking into it as well. As it has been mentioned, this kit is intended to run at 8 pounds of boost. Why it was running over 9 psi and then even further, why it went up to 10 psi after the installation of headers is very unusual and we don't have all the answers yet. Many of you will remember that when we developed the supercharger we mentioned that most of the time the addition of headers will lower boost pressure. We have found this to be the case. Now we're curious why boost actually increased after installing headers.

The kit was designed and tuned for 8 psi. We need to know why the car was running over 9 psi and then even bigger question why it went over 10 psi!

The stillen supercharger really needs to be redesigned from the ground up. Way to complicated, too many things moved.

Always use the kiss method. Keep It Simple Stupid.

Actually it's just a vortech snail. That's like saying your suspension is a Goodyear system because of the tire.

Still designed the kit, the vortech is just one component of the kit. If you use a samco coupler does it become a samco system.

^Are you sure about that? was your car at vortech in Oxnard 3 years ago when they began R&D on the kit? And no my suspension is Tanabe and Nissan, and my tires are Nitto... You got the wrong guy, but the kit is still trash, carry on.

I was just telling him it's really Stillens problem 100% because it's vortechs kit but at least it looks like Stillen is willing to help their customer out, that's all he can ask for.

I can pretty much guarantee that everyone in this thread, minus a select few, have no idea what they're actually talking about.

Pretty sad how stuff propagates on the internet =\

+1 lets get all the facts before the bashing begins on the kit..if you dont like the stillen setup then dont buy it that simple.but a motor can blow with any turbo or supercharger kit..
