DriveSport mode. Holds gear longer, downshifts more often. Tries to keep you at the optimum area of the powerband.

From my experience, it's pretty good for day-to-day driving, with upshifts occuring mostly around 4k instead of 3k in D.

Welcome to the forums.

I'm really not trying to be a d!ck but seriously? You posted a thread about this? I would think you would have checked out the car before buying and understand what it's basic functions are.

I can possibly see this being a dealers fault for not showing it to you but for real...learn the cars basic features before buying it lol

Thanks Crazjays!

LOWDRAG-i'd hate to hear what you sound like when you are trying to be a ****! i agree about knowing a veh before you buy but i bought this vehicle for my wife and when the salesman did his walk-through i stood in the background so that my wife, the primary driver, could learn the functions. i drive a 4Runner and the infiniti shifter thing is just odd to me. actually, this veh has more bells/whistles than i've ever seen. i can barely change the radio station!

BTW- i thought this was a support forum...if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all.

Another welcome to the forums. Yes, you'll find support from these forums and you'll find answers to your questions. However, simple questions like these which could be answered by simply looking through the car manual or even a quick search through the forums will warrant responses like hispeed. IMO, in no way was he trying to be an a** about it either. Some people will be straight up and some wont be. You'll be glad that people on this forum are better in regards to NOT being an a** compared to other forums.

And again, welcome to the forums.

mikeG1970,

With an Infiniti, you get a dealer concierge that will come to your home or office, they will spend over an hour teaching you all the bells and whistles.

Don't feel bad, almost 5 months later, Im still discovering new things about this car!!!

The salesman only shows you how to get out of their driveway.
