Hello, I did a bit of looking on here and Google, I have an 09 G37 coupe manual trans and my reverse lights won't turn on when I'm in reverse. I figured since the car doesn't know it's in reverse the camera isn't being triggered, I checked the camera using the "secret menu" and it does work. I ordered a new reverse lamp switch from Infiniti and had it installed but that did not fix my issue. I'm hoping someone has some suggestions as far as what else to check out on the car? I think I read that the auto G's have a fuse but the manual transmissions do not? Any insight is appreciated.

My answer to everything: Take it to the dealership.

 

Sounds like an electrical issue... Could be something in the shifter assembly just not triggering... A fuse maybe? It's probably something simple but I think the dealer is your best bet on something like that.
