Reflash or tune?

Whats the difference with a reflash and tune? Looking to get either done to my car, dont want my car to be running lean (exhaust, intake, test pipe), just want the car running as best as possible.

I called a local tuner he said $300 for uprev reflash and a tune would be $150 a hour, I asked him whats the difference between the two, he said they are basically the same. Just wanted some more opinions from here, before I get anything done.

To do a reflash right you have to tune the car. Mine took about an hour to tune after my UPREV flash.

So your saying I need tune first in order to do a reflash? I'm going to call the tuner again but from what I remember he said I can go with either one.

Maybe he meant stand alone vs reflash? Or generic reflash vs custom tune?

They UpRev is a a program that retunes the stock ECU. Then they go into and the ECU and change the timing and fuel and all that to get maximum power while on the dyno.
