ECU reset

I reed here to reset the ECU just disconnect the negative cable from the battery and leave it for as long as possible.
Now i'm leaving for my vecation and i was thinking about diconnecting the battery and leave it for like a week.
Is there any risk involved in doing it that long? I'm worried about possibly damaging the ECU somehow.
Thank you

Won't hurt a thing. Will save your battery from draining as well.

Bon Voyage!
