g37s clutch has no feel?
I've been driving sticks for years but this one I'm having issues with. I'm having a hard time feeling the engagement point on the clutch. I noticed that there's a type of coil over spring on the clutch pedal itself. I know on corvette's you can remove the spring on their clutch pedal and it really helps the feel and smoothness. Has anyone tried this with our's yet?

I had the same problem. You'll get used to it. The engagement point is really high and really short compared to other cars of driven, but after roughly 2 months with my G I don't even really notice it any more.

My first test drive I hated it. The dealership let me drive a different car 4 different times cause I didn't like the feel, and I was trying to make up my mind before ordering a manual or the AT. The clutch feels similar to that on my brother's S2000. In the end I decided to order a manual. I got bored with the AT.

same issue with me. This is my first stick but I drove stick and practiced many times before. When I went to pick my G up from the stealership I couldn't even drive it out of the lot. I kept stalling because it was hard to find the engagement point with it being so high for me. The clutch felt way different from what I drove before. The engagement point was way higher than I expected so it took me a while to get used to. 2 months later... I'm now learning how to rev match downshift. You'll get used to it. If the clutch still bothers you after that... you should ask the stealerships if there's a way to adjust the feeling of the pedal other than getting a different clutch.

Rev matching downshifts is pretty easy. Floating the gears ain't a problem. Just ain't happy with the engagement point. I'm gonna see if I can remove the spring from the clutch pedal assembly and see if that changes anything.
