A couple of weeks ago I did the 3 month (1950 miles) service per the owner's and service manuals and always will. Get this, the factory installed oil filter is the first one I've been able to remove without an oil filter wrench! Yeah, it was tight but with the entire pan removed I had quite a bit of space to get a good grip on that thing. Besides with the pan removed, there is plenty of access for inspecting everything.

Next oil change I'll be going to a synthetic oil - it'll be at the 5k mileage and about five months from now.

With a filter change, I used every drop of a five quart container.

I just dont get why they vary so much....
Are you kidding. Mine wanted me to pay 90 dollars because they use "special ester oil". My first trip was covered but they expected me to pay that much next time. **** that.

The guy taking care of the service was so surprised when i said no wash. The car has a weak clear coat as it stands up to a well done wash much less their bull**** where they use the same cotton cloth on ur rims as they do on ur paint.
