Grounding kit. cant decide
It's not 8 or 4 wires its 8 or 4 GAUGE wiring. 4 AWG (American Wire Gauge) is heavier wire. It's what I have but everyone who has the 8 still gets the benefits. 4 may be overkill unless you add a stereo system or just want to go bigger for peace of mind and because it doesn't cost that much more.
I have the Stillen kit which if I remember is 8 gauge wire.
Some updated findings on my kit:
1. Car shifts much faster. The 3-4 shift snaps your neck a little at redline.
2. In "D" mode when I press the gas it doesn't "hunt and search" for the right gear, it just drops the gear and away I go, no lag. Around town this is perfect. This has kept me from leaving it in DS mode all the time like I used to.
3. Throttle response seems better. It seems like it takes far less pedal travel to achieve the same results.
4. Women find me more attractive.

Get this kit if you have an AT, you won't regret it.

How hard/tedious was the install for you?
Ther are definite improvements in throttle response and shifting.
