Grounding kit. cant decide
Go with Black Betty's setup. He doesn't talk trash about other peoples kits except for huge prices they charge. Stillen has a good GB price so that would be a good option as well. If Stillen is regular price then definitely get Betty's kit, IMO.
I don't think it will matter which one you get. I got the Stillen kit then ol' Black Betty came out with his kit a week later. If I had it to do over again I'd get the Black Betty kit for 2 reasons.
1. Cheaper
2. I can choose my color (stillen offers red & silver only)
Definitely get it though. Shifting is smoother in D mode, but in DS mode is where it really shines. Yesterday I had the VDC off and I squeeked the tires on a manual mode 1-2 shift. Downshifts are faster (no lag) in D or DS mode. Throttle response is better, and maybe it's just me but the stereo sounds clearer and has a lot less distortion. Overall it just makes the car work better. Why Infiniti didn't step up and do this from the factory is beyond me.

I'm a stowaway from G35Drivers...
are you guys really seeing benefits from the grounding kits? what's this about quicker shifts in the 5AT? I could use some quicker shifts but not sure how the grounding kit is achieving that.

It works. The grounding wires provide better electrical grounding for every electronic component and system in the vehicle (which is sorely needed on Nissan/Infiniti vehicles) including all the electronics that control the transmission. I was very skeptical until I ran into starter problems on my '96 Maxima. I replaced it once. The problems returned. I read up on grounding and didn't believe in it at first. I was not going to pay hundreds of dollars for one of the kits available. I made my own out of 0 AWG and 4 AWG wiring. I have not had a starter or any other electrical problem since. And I noticed right off the bat that the 1-2 shift hesitation that particular car is notorious for with AT is completely gone. Upshifting and downsifting is quicker and more precise. Now I'm bringing the benefits to the G37. I can make you one for the G35 as well, I'll just need to take measurements. A coworker is having me make one for her '06 350Z.

Thanks. I replied in your "Finally Here" thread. It appears on Stillen's site that the part umbers for the G35 and the G37 are the same so I bet your G37 kit will work perfectly. I think I'm going for a 4ga. application as well, why not go all the way.

You'll be glad you did. If you look at the install photos in the thread, you'll see that mine is also a 4 AWG in black and it's so stealthy, it looks OEM. You'll hardly notice it's there.
