GT Motorsports: G37S VHRTT, GTM HR Turbo Kit, FCon VPro, Stock Block Testing
I'm in! This price is pretty good, its about the same price that I paid for my 350z's setup-minus the built motor. I just would like a break down on the parts and the price on each part so I know how much I'm paying for each thing.
Dude ... go for it!
Here are the complete details that were sent to me:
GTM-HRG35AT-TURBO KIT STAGE 1 w/Intercooler - $6254.00
F CON VPRO INSTALL WITH KNOCK AMP DUEL WIDE BAND SENSOR - $4175.00
TUNING - $600.00
FUEL SYSTEM - $1261.00
LABOR - $2700.00
TOTAL - $14,990.00
That F Con is supposed to be the best. Anyone have any experience with it?
i would just wait for more option if i were you. there would be cheaper options. you will probably get the engine rebuild for 15k too. just my .2 i would like a piece of mind and would not risk my engine blowing up.
What's all included in the fuel system? Most return fuel systems are about $1000+. So if not included, you would need fuel injectors and a fuel pump ($100). But I'm not sure what there offering such as a fuel system.
Does the kit come with BOV's also? What about spark plugs? You would defiantly need an exhaust and a new clutch. And if you added open dumps, it will really start to add up. I plan to do this one day. But that's defiantly close to 1+ years before I do.
But from what I've seen in the past, it's all about right so far as cost. I think most people are destracted by the $4100+ F Con and such. But it's the only way to go to have it done right.

I actually have no doubt the price is right. There are way too many positive references for them to be shady so I had confidence in their work even before I called them. I've been talking to other places and GTM's price is in line ... especially with the F-Con.
In conversation with GTM, everything needed to do the project right is supplied. He for sure mentioned fuel pump, injectors, and BOV ... but he said only one was really needed for my application (but keep in mind I only have a 3.5 which is not like the VHR in the G37). He also said an exhaust is needed which I already have. The system is also completely reversable so if you ever need to go back to stock, it can be done.
The BIG advantage GTM has with their system can be installed on an AT. Greddy told me they are only working with MT's right now.

I thought about that scenario as well. Why drop $15K on your 4 year old G37 then when you can use the $ on the new G40 (or whatever the newer model is)?
As you can tell ... this is killin' me!
