Better take a copy of the TSB itself to the dealer, they won't take my word for it! See attached.

t-bone1924, Thanks so much. This will really help. This will basically tell them what to do, so they won't report back, that they had no findings.....Awesome!

So finally took the car for servicing at the dealers. Told the tech about the issue of surging, of course they needed to 'verify' the issue so we took it for a spin. I was glad that the problem did present itself as most of the time its always the other way around. The tech said that there was an updated service bulletin for the ECU flash, after the update the car handles much smoother now and I dont feel the surge anymore. But the quote of the day from the dealer: "We have only seen this in one car (mine) so far...."

Maybe I should forward them this thread

Finally got my G back.

Drives like a dream. I didn't notice the surging anymore, so i am hoping the reprogramming took care of that.........

I had the TSB applied to the car when I took it to the dealer to have the exhaust changed (internal problem with the exhaust made it rattle very nicely)...

Took 1 day, but I was given a loaner to abuse...

They were having problems with their computer communicating with my car....they left it reprogramming over nite.

Someone else can probably give you a better estimate of time....

My car driving is awesome. No more surging. Nice crisp stops.....

I'm at under 100 miles but am noticing some surge, and the shifting from a stop is a bit rough. After reading all this I think I'll just keep a sharp eye on it for the next few hundred miles and report back to the dealer.

They are slacking....

When I took it in the first time, some service guy told me, that they first have to ck if the surging is true....
The second time i went back, I was lucky to get the assistant services mgr, and he told me he knew exactly what I was talking about. That he had received other G's with the same problem...

Try to take it back to the same dealer, different service person, or a different dealer all together....

It's an annoying problem, especially during traffic. It's nice to drive after its been resolved.
