I decided to go with the 63mm from SYNOLIMIT. Here's a short quickie of how it went down. I bypassed the coolant lines to the TBs while I was swapping them. Leaves more room under the hood for access to the head (injectors, spark plugs) and *slightly* cools intake temps.

after finishing the switch, I had forgotten to swap over the COMPLETE TPS housing, so it went limp on startup and threw a code...don't have anything to read it with though...

After disassembling the passenger side, I corrected the error, threw it all together, and performed all the necessary reset procedures (windows, ecu, idle, accelerator position reset). At first, my idle was high (~1000-1200), but that was with the partial TPS switch.

Now? I'm still running the stock base map, no tune...but there's pro's and A con that i can think of.

con: throws of the a/f ratio. looking to get ECUtek ProECU here in another 2-3 months ish...along w/ mods necessary for flex fuel.

PRO: she pulls all the way to redline now, with no discernable droop or drop off. I tested it out in mexico before i went to work, and it pulled strong in 6th up to 5k. I'm pretty sure there's a drop in power due to the a/f ratio being off, but there's a slight increase in torque. Throttle response seems to be more crisp as well.

w/ the intakes off and the allen key bolts removed. Towel is there to catch the lil bit of coolant that comes out of the coolant bypass lines.

Passenger side w/ coolant lines removed from the TB. The return line (shorter line) was removed and cut to plug up the coolant openings on the TB b/c stores aren't open on at 2 am Christmas Eve lol.

the angle is horrible, and my phone broke 3 days ago, so I'm snapping these w/ the selfie camera on an ipod. I just re-routed the supply coolant line back to the return (lower left, adjacent to the short 90 degree line. I just cut the protective sleeving off/ repositioned it to make the bends work, and to shield it from rubbing where it touched anything.

Swapping the TPS housing on the passenger side TB....it was early morning and I had some sauce in my system, so I forgot to swap the gearing inside as well...Had to go back and disassemble after finding that out when it was already put back together

Finished passenger side w/ flash

Finished passenger w/o flash.

Nice! I gotta remove the coolant lines but that'll happen when I'm doing the necessary boost upgrades. Should copy this a create a review thread.

lol, you've already started one. I'll just add to it, hopefully it'll catch some eyes
