Post questions about Dyno Sheets in another Thread or PM the dyno poster.

Here is the format for posting your dyno sheets:

1. Put the status of your car when dynoed in the Title. Example: G37 6MT with FI exhaust and BERK HFC.

2. In the main body of the text post the pic(s) of your dyno sheet. Under each post put the description of the dyno such as what run and what gear used, etc.

3. The first part of the main body of text should also specify what type of dyno was used.

=============================

To help people with which gear is 1:1 (which I didn't know at the time of my dyno) here are the Gear ratios for both AT and MT transmissions.

----------------------------------------------------------------
Trans Order Code --------------------- N/A
Trans Type ---------------------------- 5
Trans Description Cont. --------------- Automatic w/OD
Trans Description Cont. Again -------- N/A
First Gear Ratio (:1) ------------------- 3.84
Second Gear Ratio (:1) ---------------- 2.35
Third Gear Ratio (:1) ------------------ 1.52
Fourth Gear Rato (:1) ----------------- 1.00
Fifth Gear Ratio (:1) ------------------- 0.84
Sixth Gear Ratio (:1) ------------------ N/A
Reverse Ratio (:1) --------------------- 2.76
Clutch Size (in) ------------------------ N/A
Final Drive Axle Ratio (:1) ------------- 3.69
Drivetrain ------------------------------- Rear-Wheel Drive

BBoy's Stock G37 6MT

Here are the dynos I got of my stock G37 on a SuperFlow WinDyn. Did this so I know what my numbers will be before my upgrades so I know what I get after each upgrade.

Enjoy:

Stock vs. Magnaflow Dyno

Here's my runs performed on a Dynojet at Romar Automotive in Walden, NY. I arrived with the "installed by me" Magnaflow and that run is labeled as "Magnaflow1." We then switched back to stock, this is labeled as "Stock." The stock was then removed and replaced with the Magnaflow and it was properly tightened. Having the exhaust on the lift was way easier to properly tighten those clamps and also to make sure that the resonator hangers aren't rubbing. So, other than being quieter, it was a real treat to see it make more than the 3.2hp and 1.1tq put down by my leaky install! I was told that it's a common mistake to not tighten the clamps enough and that they need to be completed closed on the spacer inside the clamp.

So, the Magnaflow when properly installed got me 269hp/228/tq vs 260hp/219tq for the stock. Not bad for less than $500!

Note 1: The spike on run 3 and the weird dropoff after 6200 rpms is due to the auto which does not take kindly to dyno testing! Even in DS mods and paddle shifting with the VCM off, it would still throw an upshift to 5th right at 6500rpms no matter what. Therefore, ignore the graph after 6000 rpms and no, I didn't get 274.65tq. The real figures for torque I had printed out due this anomoly are 219 stock, 223 leaky Magnaflow, 228 proper Magnaflow.

Note 2: Run conditions were between 74 and 75 degrees with a humidity of 29%. All runs done in 4th gear.

Stock dyno against Berk HFC, Fast Intentions Carbon Fiber Exhaust, and Stillen CAI 3

Isn't this beautiful?

34HP and 17TQ increase over stock. And they said bolt-ons didn't produce any power. BTW these runs were all done on the same dyno in 4th gear. And the stock dyno was done in a temp of 64 degrees F and the modded dyno was done in a temp of 91 F.
