Lol sweet. You get to be the Guinea pig then haha I had another idea though. What if you bought a toggle switch though? For example, one way would cut the power of the brake lights, but light up a small 12 volt light. That way you always know what's on and what's off haha. I'm paranoid about hitting it and forgetting which way is on and off lol

Lt8Che, consider to editing your first post and put this guide for removing the center console, of course to help people out!. It's the best guide I have found. http://www.twmperformance.com/manual...ion_manual.pdf I think I now know why you were able to get to yours easily. We have different center consoles, where the 12v, and usb go. Mine is one solid box, looks like yours comes apart?
Oh and the tools I used were, trim removal tools, phillips head screwdriver, needle nose pliers, a soldering iron (for a source of heat only, I did NOT solder the wires just wrapped them around each other and slid heat shrink on), heat shrink, extra wire (I used about 3 feet [rough guess, but it had a just enough slack for my liking]), razor blade (to remove the black thin plastic film wrapped around the wires and to shave the insulation from the wire we are cutting [its really really thin]), and a simple wire cutter to cut the wire! I think that was it!

That's why I think I'll just do the momentary switch, so I can hold it on and when I release it's a closed circuit again.

OHHHHHH yeah, our center arm rests are different. When spring break comes, I can remove the arm rest to fix my wire situation. I'll take pics. I still haven't really gotten around to getting sideways yet
