Finally got around to installing the last piece - the accelerator. You were right, it's a piece of cake.

what is the part numbers,
180021NC0C brings back Q50 and Q60 results on discountinifitiparts, i can still add it from quick order by the part number alone, is that OK? I take they didn't chagne the part number for the q50 and q60 and kept it the same?
I have a 2010 G37x Sedan non-sport, and want to install the aluminum pedals (acceleration, brake and dead)

Thank u everyone

The part numbers in the original post are correct and up to date. If it says they are for the Q50/Q60 that is only because they have updated their database to reflect the newest model cars that have the same parts installed as the G37.

Everyone, I have a question about this. I see kits for the whole accelerator assembly, and also just for a cover. For example, would I be able to go off of this link from Ebay? It just looks like a cover, so I'm not sure if that would work as well.

Any thoughts?

Those appear to be an aftermarket attempt to have a slip on OEM appearance kit. These are definitely different than the OEM parts. They also ship from China, which I have had very bad experiences with in the past. If it were me personally, I would spend a little extra and go with the used OEM parts to make sure the fit and finish is top notch, opposed to going with these replicas.

There does always have to be a first, and there is the possibility these could be nice. Even though I wouldn't go that route personally, it doesn't mean that there isn't the possibility that they are nice, and other would benefit from a hands on review. If you do decide to go that route make sure you fill us in on how they are whether it's good or bad.

Good luck!

Thanks for the input. I ended up matching the part numbers and getting the dead pedal and break pedal new from infinitipartsdeal.com, but they didn't have the gas pedal so I got that used off of ebay from a 2008, which I'm assuming will work fine with my 2012... I hope it's not too bead up.

Once the parts are in, I'm going to put them in myself, so we will see how it goes.. it doesn't look too hard

I bought a 2008 gas pedal and it works great in my 2012. You should be fine.

Well, I got home from work today and installed the pedals.... had a mini freak-out trying to get the accelerator pedal unclipped, but everything worked out well.

How do you guys post pictures typically? I have some before and after stuff I was going to do

I can't seem to find a price for the accelerator less than $140 which is a bit much. I got the brake pedal for really cheap, why is the accelerator so much more expensive?

OEM Aluminum Sport Pedal Installation

You can get a used one on eBay for $60 or less... It is a replacement for the whole abbey love you including electronics which is why it's more.

The accelerator assembly is more because it replaces the whole unit and is not simply a cover like the brake pedal or simply the plastic and metal like the dead pedal. I would definitely look to ebay for a used assembly if you want to go the cheaper route.

OEM AT set went in today.

I won't bore you with a redundant pic, but I will thank those whose input smoothed the process. Particularly the brake pedal which was the b*tch of the bunch. Didn't order the fasteners for the footrest, just re-used the original ones. They were very kind to me.

Thanks for the feedback. The brake pedal is definitely a pain to slip on. I used some white lithium grease to make the process a little easier.
