DIY: Installing window trim vinyl wrap 07+ G Sedans

Just the grille and grille emblem left. Not sure if I'm going to even jack with putting the lettering back on the rear. I tried to vinyl wrap those..... Well, I started/stopped after the G turned out looking like crap. If I decide to put them back on, I'll gloss black them and trace the letters and put the vinyl on the front face of the letters instead of wrapping the sides too. Corners are a B.

Finally
Thanks BLNEWT for the tips. Only thing left is the fog light trim which I'm leaning toward painting black. One thing I've learned doing this to my entire car is that TIGHT CURVES SUCK!
Screwed up in one place on the grille. Did the emblem 2 weeks ago and the entire grille took about 4-5 hours today. Use a lot of heat and push between the louvers, cut 1/4" below each louver and you're good to go.
I decided to spray paint the inside where I thought the vinyl might not cover when I cut and I'm glad I did. The vertical columns behind the louvers were already a sheen black/chrome color but the paint made it completely black. Probably use that stuff on the fog light covers. I'm including a picture of where I screwed up on the lower left side. I did a decent job at fixing it but I was about to walk into my driveway and start cursing after doing such a good job on the right side.......
Added a pic of the back too.

Thanks for this write up!! There's definitely a learning curve to using the vinyl but after doing this, if I had another chance, it'd be perfect. It looks good though and there's no sense in me rewrapping anything. Thanks again for the awesome template!!!

Did you remove it from the car?
How did you do the camera and button?
Thanks!

I used an Xacto knife to cut out the camera after the application was done.

I did mine from the top down, with it on the car. I would recommend starting at the bottom in order to better get it around the camera first; at least that how I'll try it next time (I plan on doing it again to fix some imperfections).

Finally got around to doing this after all these years. My window trim and b-pillars were so beat up. It took me about 5 hours but it was definitely worth it. Thanks blnewt!

I'm in a similar situation. I've had my vinyl for years, but I have yet to apply it. I was going to finally do it yesterday, but I decided to address issues with my horns and grille instead. Your pics have definitely given me the push I needed. I will tackle mine this weekend. Your car looks great!
