Sorry I didn't explain myself clearly. What I meant was that the lights were on even when they were not turned on. I can still see the dim light from the LED bulbs (though only noticible at night) even when they are supposed to be off. When I switch them on, they are really bright as supposed to be.

Ah! My LEDs don't do that at all. They behave just like the stock bulbs, except they "snap" off at the end of the dimming cycle. I purchased them from Diode Dynamics, who comes strongly recommended from many folks on these boards.

Their pricing isn't bad at all though. I got a full interior kit, plus trunk and license plate shipped for $50. This includes a 3 year warranty. Also their website has much better pricing than Amazon. There also are discounts codes offered through these boards from time to time.

Do you remember what LED lunens you got? I checked out their website and there were 3-4 different lumens. I'm not sure which brightness level I should get.

Feel free to send us a PM for the Free-Shipping code if you are in the U.S.

Or give us a call if you have any lighting related questions: (314) 205-3033

Thanks!

I went with Stage 2 in blue for the interior, stage 1 in white for the visors, stage 2 in white for the license plate, and stage 3 in blue in the trunk. DD IS here to help you with your purchase though.

Perfect guide, just what I was looking for.

I just bought my first G37xS and got the Interior LED package from iJDMToy.com. I've yet to receive it but I was talking to a couple people and they said it's unsafe to use LED in the interior as they run at different temperature and/or power consumption is not the same. I am no electrician but power consumption would be low obviously.

So, is it really in any way unsafe? Just curious before I install them.

I just installed these about 30min ago. Disconnected the negative terminal before starting and reconnected after installing all of the lights. The driver's side welcome light, map light, vanity light, and rear passenger reading light all work just fine, as well as the license plate lights. The passenger map light, welcome light, and rear passenger light and vanity light do not come on when I open the door or manually try to turn them on. Anyone know what is causing this?

(Purchased my 2012 G37xS sedan 3 weeks ago, this is my first "mod". First post - mainly a lurker).

Thanks in Advance

Flip them all around and see if they work.

Can't believe I didn't think of this. Ended up being bad lights after the switch, checked fuses as well just in case. Ordered Diode Dynamics to replace my iJDMToy...pretty disappointed that I wasted money.

Thanks for the reply, Epiphany.

Thanks for taking the time
