Sedan interior and exterior LED bulb installation guide

I installed LED bulb replacements on all my interior lights as well as my license plate, trunk, and reverse lights. The following are instructions and bulb guide for a 2009 G37 sedan.

All lights were purchased from iJDMtoy.com

Bulb Information:

Links to what I purchased:

map lights, door courtesy lights, and rear reading lights package:

2007-2011 Infiniti G35 G37 6 Lights Direct Fit LED Interior Lights

Vanity Mirror Lights:

TS-14V1CP F30-WHP Fuse Type 6614F LED Bulbs | LED Vanity Mirror Lights

Trunk lights and license plate lights:

5-SMD T10 168 194 LED Bulbs, Car Interior Lights, License Plate Lights

Reverse Lights:

13-SMD 5050 T10 Car Automobile LED Light Bulbs 168 194 921 2825

If you want to pick your own bulbs, the sizes are:

Map lights = 194
door courtesy lights = 194
rear reading lights = 194
vanity mirror lights = 29mm
glove box = 57
trunk = 194
license plate light = 921
reverse lights = 921

All you need for installation is a small flat head screw driver to pop the plastic covers off all the factory lights. When you are replacing the bulbs, be sure and test every new LED bulb and make sure they work, you might need to turn them around.

Map Light install:

Pop one side of the cover off, then put your finger inside and push straight down and pop the back side off.

nice writeup man, I just ordered the interior lighting kit from IJDMTOY and was wondering if there was anything special to pop the interoir bulb covers off, guess not?

Glad I looked at this.

I love IJDMTOY, I've never had an issue with any of their LEDs yet! Great quality and fast service!!! I was almost going to go with the large LED panels like this but I thought it might be too bright. I'm glad it turned out well tho

For the Door courtesy lights, how do you get the bulb out? I can't pull it out. It seems that both are really jammed in.

Did a search and found this old threat.. instead of making a new one I hope someone can answer this question. I have a '08 coupe and I'm looking to take off the dome light covers to replace with LED. Do the covers(the piece you push on to turn the lights on) just pop off with a flat-head screw driver like the sedan or is there more to it than that? I'm worried about denting the plastic surround when using the screw driver as a lever.

It pops off with a flat head. You could wrap the flat head in black tape to help the surrounding. I used my finger on the opposite side to use it to press against instead of the plastic piece.

Are the bulb types/sizes list valid for a 2013 sedan as well? (TIA)
