how do you adjust the windows.

how do you adjust the windows.

hey guys getting air noise and water leaking in alittle from window. how do i adjust the window. i keep going to the dealer and there either making it to tight or not tight at all.

you should be able to reset the windows by holding all the window buttons down (2/4 if you have coupe/sedan respectively) for >5 seconds then up for >5 seconds

check the manual to make absolutely sure that I have the procedure right but I think I remembered it right

nah adjusting the window. not resetting it. 2 different things. i am getting water in a little after washes and the door is making a weird noise when closing when it touched the rubber molding.

have you tried resetting it? it might be stuck and think its all the way up and then go back to the "normal" position after resetting it.

also, check the rubber molding along the door, it might be dirty/cracked/etc

I think what he meant was adjusting the window regulator, having the glass edge deepter/less into the rubber seal. I other words, adjusting the window heights. I have the same problem, and apparently its only covered under warranty for the 1st twelve months. One deal wants to charge me $100 to do it.

You have to completly remove the door pannel then there are two little holes on the door frame that you have to take covers off. Then you roll the window about half way down and there are screws to loosen it up and adjust it. I watched the body shop do it to my driver side after I was getting wind noise after some repairs.
