Samco Install DIY?

Any DIY (preferably with pics) on replacing the radiator hoses with Samcos?

Guess I'm confused on how changing hoses out is a 2 hour job.

I haven't changed mine yet but it seems pretty easy. You have to drain your coolants from the bottom then change out your hose then refill it

What about purging? How do you do that for our cars?

Edit: Would you mind taking pictures when you do the install? (also how long it took you)

After reading the FSM, I opted for Function: TUNED to do it. It is a messy job and when I had it done it was too cold in the garage. After watching him do it (took about an hour start to finish), I was glad I did not attempt it. A lift was a big advantage. Worth every penny for an hour of labor.

Anyone know how to correctly purge the coolant system of air? I e-mailed Ryan@Forged, but haven't gotten a reply yet.

Correct me if i am wrong...i do not think you need to purge it unless you have high mileage on the vehicle or the vehicle's thrempstat is jumping around. I did for the g35 and it has over 60,000 and did not need to purge it. The way i purge it was having a medium funnel with the coolant on there and having the engine run so it elimates the air bubbles in the coolant.<--that was for the impala i had so...take it for what it is worth
