Thanks for the great write up X, as well as everyone that contributed! I finally got around to doing this...I had forgotten how great the G's lights are, they've been pointing at the ground for so long after my drop!

Awesome writeup, I need to do this once I find a parking garage and some time to spare.

So all I need is a phillips eh? Judging by your second picture I thought I needed to bring my ratchet set, but I guess not.

Thanks!

Do you know the distance (final adjustment measurement) for S-tech drop?
Like you have pre-determind measurement for S-tech so far?

Nope, no one has given me the measurement. you'll have to measure from ground up vertically to center of headlight light and subtract 2 inches... if you do so please let me know what the measurement is so I can put it up for other forum members like yourself.

so center of the headlight.. what do you consider center of the headlight.
There is like a sphere thing that shoots headlight beam, center point of the that sphere bulb?
If O is the sphere, half way of O<-- ? which is the middle of the sphere.. am i right?

That's sounds right. That's how I'd do it.

If i dropped on Eibach Pros and swapped the wheels out to 20s...do you think I would still need to adjust the lights?

Didn't know if the 1.2 inch front dropped and the increase in wheel size would make a difference.

Yes and sorry for late reply. Dead center of your reflector is your bulb so it shold be dead center of the bulb within.

Yes a 1 - 2 inch drop needs adjustment.

Now as a note to ones with a drop with tire aspect ratios that are not 35 front/30 rear on 20 inch wheels(these aspect ratios are basically like the stock). If larger or smaller aspect ratio. either way the measurement from floor to center of headlight measurement and this DIY will fix the issue regardless of height of tire, just don't use any pre-determined measurements I have at top of my post and do measure it out as the tutorial describes.

it sounds like you are confused about how getting bigger wheels works...the wheel itself is bigger but the sidewall of the tire gets smaller (the aspect ratio) so the overall diameter of the tire+wheel stays the same. If it didn't all kinds of things like your speedometer would be thrown off

hope that helps

(oh and, yes you have to still adjust your lights)
