I have never heard of 3M's spray-on clear bra, but just today at Wal-Mart I saw something similar (ArmorAll brand). I would have strongly considered purchasing it, except for the fact that the clear color that ArmorAll has seems to change the color of the paint under it slightly (at least, that is what the picture on the box looked like).

Just bought the sprayer handle at Autozone $6.79, will be buying my cans at Amazon for the free shipping next week. Once my new paint is fully cured I'll be giving it a shot. I'll be sure to post my reviews when I get it done.

Haven't got my car back form the body shop yet, so I'm still at least a month away from trying it. Here's the latest Amazon reviews, most are favorable, seems that you really need to keep the nozzle clean for best results.

I happened to notice this thread and also happen to have some on the way from Amazon. I plan on giving it a try this weekend or next and will update with some feedback.

Nate (AnotherG37) attempted this and said it hazed up, he pulled it off after a week or two.

I bought 2 cans of this to spray my front end in preparation for a cross country drive. This stuff is not easy to get right. I would only use this as a short term solution for rock chips. Not a good replacement for clearbra.

What particular problems did you run into? Really hoping to hear better feedback, but then again if it sounds too good to be true.....

I see this becoming the next PD fad. Great idea for a cheap, quick solution and with the ability to peel off. But compromised results.
