I'm looking to buy 2011 g37x and have been reading a lot of reviews online for it. One thing I have found to be common is that the car has a lot of road noise leaking into the cabin. I have yet to test drive one but was wondering what you guys have to say about it as being an owner?

The road noise isn't significant as long as you have the window height set properly (search the forums for "resetting windows etc"). Your tires would make a difference as well....

 

Wondows height? Is it how far it closes? I seem to find a lot of threads for just doing a reset on the windows

 

i would check the tires... also x models are everywhere wished i waited a bit for xs or s models.. get one with nav as well i hate not being able to watch videos and stream.
road noise was not a factor for me take the car for a long test drive in stop and go traffic
see if you can live with the tranny lag other than those i have zero complains with the car

 

Yeah I'm looking at a car with nav (tech package ) which also includes adaptive cruise control. I'm just not sure about whether it includes rain sensing wipers.

I don't notice an excess of road noise, and I think this is highly dependent on the tires that you have on your vehicle. Did you end up purchasing yet?
