Anyone in Toronto lower their car yet?
i just had my g lowered on eibach prokit a few days ago and have to say i am lovin the ride AND the look. still very comfortable and solid. to me , its a perfect drop..not too aggressive and inconvenient...just right! camber is off a little...not too, too bad. will do an alignment in couple of weeks.
FYI had work done at Advanced power house on 1217 lawrence st west in toronto.
Edward is guy to talk to...in and out in hour and bit.

Thanks for the heads up on APH. I had them drop in my Eibach springs today as I was unable to make the trip to my usual shop due to time constraints.
I spoke with Edward and he was excellent. Very professional, they worked quickly and efficiently paying attention to even the small details to ensure it was done correctly. Also as a side note these guys are a sponsor for MY350.
I also has them run a quick dyno so I have a base line in the event I do some modding in the future. When they ran the dyno's I noticed how many other people with 350z's and G35's were already in the computer. So we know they are knowledgeable with cars similar to ours.
Bottom line, I would recommend Advanced Powerhouse to anyone else in the GTA.

How do potholes and bumps feel with Eibachs vs stock?
Do you approach speed bumps differently?
Ever bottomed out on a upward driveway?
Any front rubbing when cornering hard?
Has anyone just lowered the front and left the back stock? Is this dumb?
I'm thinking of getting them done, but just want to ask the questions.
Your help is apprecaited.
I just got mine Pro-kit installed 2 days on my 09 G37X coupe. The ride is a bit stiffer compare to stock. The car rides fine most of the time. It is only really noticeable when I hit one of those big pot holes!! I actually really like how the car rides right now. It feels a lot more sporty than before!! I dont think it is a good idea to just lowing only the fronts.
Thanks for the info blueboart.
I'm just worried because I lowed my 2001 civic back in the day. 1.75" F 1.5" B.
Was cool and all and looked great, but after 3 years, I needed to replace my shocks. and after another 3 years the ride was just brutal. I think it even got lower in time. A hit pothole sounded like an explosion in the cabin.
At the end even speedbumps had to be taken side ways at 10km/h.
I don't want this situation on my new ride in 3 years from now.

Well, it you only use lower springs on the stock shocks. The stock would wear out faster compare to stock springs. You probably will need to replace your shocks every 80-100K. But trust me.. It is worth it..... Car looks 100x better than the stock 4x4 look.
Given, I'm not directly in Toronto but further west...
