Anyone in Toronto lower their car yet?
If really still wanna lower car, but worried about the road conditions and changing the ride, I would really suggest getting the tanabe's. They barely change the ride since it's only a 5% spring rate change.
BTW, I have set for sale if you're interested.

oh and not being able to go over ANY speed bumps.. aka useless lol j/k mike
if the road conditions are that bad just go tanabe's for a slight drop or go coilovers to drop them and raise them as you wish for when you need a higher ride raise them up and when you want a trackier feel lower them.

to the OP(original poster) go with h techs or tanabes...good springs and not 2 low! good luck my friend...
Haha I live in Jersey too--and yeah I've bottomed out in my G going up a driveway (and yeah um, mine isn't lowered lol). That sorta turned me off to the whole lowering my car idea.
I'm in Winnipeg, which I'm pretty sure has worse roads than TO. I plan to get coilovers - raise 'em in the winter, lower in the summer.
The stock height of the front is hideous and must be changed, IMO.

I'm picking up the eibachs pro springs for my G today, yesterday we had a big storm here in Calgary and my car was plowing away really bad at stock height
, but is rare the roads are this bad in winter, hopefully I don't regret this decision later.

I'll be lowering my G.
I have driven lowered cars in Toronto and it's no different than many other places.
You will need to change the way in which you approach certain situations if you have never driven a lowered car.
One tip I will add is that if you do decide to lower you car be sure to correct the camber. This will reduce the chances of bending a rim when you do hit a pot hole as the weight will be distributed the way in which the wheel and tire manufactures intended.
$200 for a camber kit is far less than the price of a wheel.

Well I have driven lowered vehicles before, but they didn't have the engine covers, plus I never had a lip on them, I had scrapped my previous vehicles a few times, but will see how high this one sits.
I might go to Jersey City next week. I used to live there and lots of relatives there and also in Toronto. If I go there next week, I will Pm you and let us do a photo shoot.
My buddy spotted a white 37 with CF hood, dropped with rims Monday night on the 401 heading east near 404.
I'm looking to drop this summer, debating on which drop is best. I'm only looking for a subtle drop, nothing major. Any suggestions?
