Best price I found from a reputable installer is $550 w/o balancing.

I opted for Eibach because of feedback from other G owners, plus it is a conservative drop that only removes the wheelwell gap...not into the slammed look anyway.
Thats the exact same reason I'm going for it. Cheapest was $320 for the kit and $450 installed, no allignment.

You can pretty well do your rear springs yourself and this can lower the overall installation cost.

Yeah I think its a decent drop to remove the finder gaps and not too low so you bottom out everywhere.

I commute from up north about an hr each day, coming down the 400 or 404, the highways aren't the greatest, but with this drop I think I should be ok b/c its not that low.

i just had my g lowered on eibach prokit a few days ago and have to say i am lovin the ride AND the look. still very comfortable and solid. to me , its a perfect drop..not too aggressive and inconvenient...just right! camber is off a little...not too, too bad. will do an alignment in couple of weeks.
FYI had work done at Advanced power house on 1217 lawrence st west in toronto.
Edward is guy to talk to...in and out in hour and bit.

Had mine lowered on Eibach as well, looks aggressive, ride quality sucks, but it's well worth it. I had the 4 point laser wheel alignment done immediately as per everyone's instructions. Lookin forward to more mods!

Exactly what he said, except I didn't have Advanced power house do the install. Got my allignment done right after install.

That's what I had initially thought, but then several people recommended that I do it right after the install and good thing I did cause my alignments were out of wack!

I still need to get my alignment done. Actually you should wait at least 2-3 weeks after the car has been lowered to get it done. If you get the alignment done right away, it could go slightly out again once the car settles.

Strangely enough, I can let go of the wheel at 120 and the car does not veer to any one side. Still though, I will get one done soon to get the camber angles back to (near) stock.

IMO the ride quality is great. Handling is marginally improved, but I wasn't expecting much anyway.

Right on...I've gotta put on front camber kit still so when I do that I'll ask them to give me another 4 point laser alignment just to play it safe.

Are H&R springs really terrible, is that true? The drop on the H&R Sport is a little less then Eibach Pro that's why I was looking at those for my G37x coupe for the GTA roads.

Anyone got H&R? What are the problems?
