Advice on good price

Looking at 08 Coupe Journey (automatic). 3100miles, slate blue, nav, prem, sport, spoiler. Clean carfax/autocheck. Was a corporate lease.

What you figure is a good price OTD?

Thanks!

brand new that car would cost you closer to 40k so i dont think 30k would be reasonable there

Pricing this car out would be 44 MSRP. I almost find it hard to believe that people are able to get their cars 2500 below invoice buying new. With this being the case, buying used is not as great an idea it seems

Whoops. I misread. For some reason I thought it said 31,000 miles, not 3,100. In that case I would guess closer to 33-35ish.

i paid approx. $3000 under invoice in late july for an 09 g37s coupe (automatic/sport/premium/spoiler/ikp/wheel locks/trunk mat/cargo net/splash guards/tint/impact sensor). with the $2500 incentive i would think it is not too hard to get at least that much if you have a few dealers in your area.

my dealer told me they are trying to offload the coupes because they want more convertibles.

The 2008 I was asking about price on was $39 asking and $36 "internet" price. I figured I could maybe get them at 35k out the door, but I have started pricing new 2009 and they can be had for around $40,800 out the door. So it seems to me that I get longer warranty and newer car for around 5k more.

today i received an outrageous offer for a G37X coupe with Premium and Navigation for $35,500. I think it was a mistake, so I asked them to FAX me over the details with a signature just to see if they were serious.

They said unfortunately they don't have one w/prem and nav on their lot right now so i'll have to wait. but they didn't change their asking price so i dont know if theyre playing with me or serious.

I had a few really good quotes, then I found out they didnt include freight, which was almost 1000 bucks. Freight, and their processing fee added on made the quote on par with other quotes.

How can they quote you for a car that they dont have?

I was just quoted on the 2009x coupe..prem pack...38,995..plus t and tags..the salesman only gave me $2000 of the $2500 available. When I called him on it.he had the nerve to tell me the $2500 was only on the sedan...I walked...these car dealers still believe they have the upper hand....I told him I was thinking in the 36K range...and he said.."we have to make a profit"..I had purchased a 2006 G35x from the same dealer..was wondering what WOULD BE A GREAT DEAL ON THE CAR?? I am in Albany, NY..only 1 dealer close by..
