That still makes no sense. IFS shouldn't care who the car is for since your dad will be the one responsible for the payments. So if his credit / income is fine, then there is no reason for them not to lend him the money.

Agreed, this makes no sense. Parents do this for their kids all the time.

yeah that what i told the salesman but he said since ifs know i am the one getting the car blah blah blah they cant do it because of some kind of law something doing with insurance
ill try another dealership or ill just fork up the 13 for the downpayment next month
