Most of my negotiating was done by email. It took a lot of emails and a few days to get to the right terms, but still better than facing the possibly of sitting with a salesman for hours on end. Plus they know you are probably negotiating with other dealers at the same time.

Some dealers are still hesitant to negotiate electronically, but more and more are realizing it is a necessity in this day and age.

I spent about 10 hours over three days at two different dealerships and online until i got the deal I wanted. Most of the time was spent trying to get a good trade-in value for my 05 G35 Coupe with 100k on it. If I didn't have the trade in I could have walked in and asked for invoice and gotten it and done the paperwork and been out in probably 1-2 hours total.

^Same here it took forever to negotiate a good trade in price for my bmw. Plus I'm a girl and blonde so obviously I got the run around because of that. I don't know exactly how long it took but it was too long and it was a pain!

My About to Close Lease

Hi gang:

I have just gotten off the the phone with the Infiniti dealership for my new g37S coupe.

Here are the specs:
Nav, tech, premium

Prices:

MSRP: $43950
Residual: 73%
Money: 00195
Cap Cost: $40200

Term 24 months
Payment: $567
Driveaway Cost: $567

Overall it seems like a good deal. The catch was they do not have the color and trim i wanted so they had to locate it which drove the price up a bit. They said if I took the Red one the price would have been $547.

Thanks

If cap cost is around Invoice + 1000 or less (this includes bank fee of 595) then its a pretty decent deal

People are getting Invoice + 595 or even less (inclusive of bank fee)
