Details of my G37 purchase
Hello folks,
After a good amount of lurking and reading, I finally took the plunge and bought my Obsidian Black G37S 6MT on friday. I bought from Kirkland Infiniti here in Seattle, and used the VPP program.
My specs:
OB G37S 6MT
Premium pkg
Navi pkg
Rear spoiler
Illuminated door sills - for some reason all my friends love this, cant figure out why.
Splash guards
Trunk net/cargo mat
MSRP is 42895.
Invoice is 39167.
I paid VPP pricing, which came to about 39355, plus acquisition fee ($595), DMV licensing fee ($195) and my first month's payment.
My lease is $544/mo including WA tax @ 9.1%.
0 down, 36 mos, 12k miles/year, residual was 62%.
I found the G37 lease spreadsheet at http://www.bdlhome.com/bdlleasecalc/index.htm very helpful - thanks 'bdlhome'. It is SPOT on - my monthly payment is exactly what the spreadsheet predicted.
I took my laptop with me to the dealership with my various spreadsheets. Initially they offered me the old 0.00245 rate, which I flat out refused. I told them I would only do 0.00192, which is what IFS is offering in Feb on the G37. Note that this is only being offered on the 36 month lease - the 39 month has the same residual (which is good), but has the higher 0.00245 rate.
I verified their final numbers by plugging them into my excel model - they fit :-)
I also found this chart tracking monthly payments over time pretty helpful - http://www.dwynne.com/infiniti/feb_payments.jpg (Note that this is for a G with premium pkg only). I found this chart over on the Edmunds town hall talk forum.
I really like this car so far. I need to get myself some all-weather floor mats - its always raining in Seattle!
Cheers,
Aakash

Nice! Where in WA are you located & which dealership did you lease from? You should visit G35Driver.com & My350Z.com we have lots of meets all the time throughout the year. I'll start posting up meet info in our Northwest section as well.
Thanks everyone.
I'm located in Seattle downtown (parking is a pain), and leased from Infinit of Kirkland (http://www.infinitiofkirkland.com/).
MonkPDX - check your PM's.
