It's real CF? The OEM fascia is plastic, so it's not going to be that heavy. The CF is likely much stronger. I do like the way it looks compared to the fenders in CF. More visually integrated.

Before I buttoned everything back up, I decided I wanted to run the Alibaba 3” to see if there was anything different I may notice from the Rabbithole 3” intake.

Also tried to install a core support brace but didn’t work out with the air filters I was using.

sold my full clear taillights and put the JDM tailights on.

wanting to recondition my USDM lights, I pulled them off and using the JDM ones for now.

then lastly, swapped the RE30 for the SE37K again.

Found a great deal on eBay for a Z1 34row oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich plate for $185.

took a chance on it as it came off a wrecked car and could have a leaking core.

I’m wanting a thermostatic plate that opens later and saw this one from Hel that opens at 212 degrees F.

Mac Lifter sent a set out for me to test fit and feel it’s a useful kit, especially since my bumper tabs are warped.

My Alibaba wheels come in and will be doing more comparisons with it. I am considering running the Volk ZE40 replica on the car to provide my experience of using them

it’s almost like it gets worst as we get older.

Took the risk to see if Street Design is legit or not. One person from the FB group mentioned he received his and we message from time to time so I trust his work.

I also placed an order for a Libertywalk style front bumper for the sedan off Alibaba.

Mounted the Enkei PF01 on the car.

18x10.5 +38
255/40 and 285/35

I was surprised the 10.5" +38 was hitting the knuckle up front. I currently have a 20mm spacer for clearance. 7mm wasn't enough to clear it but I think 15mm would. I only had a 20mm on hand.
I think if I got a taller tire, maybe a 255/45, it would move the top of the rim up to a narrower part of the knuckle to have enough clearance.

Unless I'm misunderstanding - the relationship to metal wheel parts vs suspension bits is controlled by the hub mounting, not tire size. I don't see how a taller or shorter tire would move the rim in relation to the knuckle. Now, tires to the control arms and spring/shock, sure...

Now that I think about it, you’re right.

it would just move it up and down together

thank you for helping to realize this.

Yeah absolutely need a spacer to push that out some. Is the tire rubbing on the upper portion of the upright?

tires clear since I have a stretch 255 on the 10.5”. I was referencing this post thinking it would work and be the same between 19” and 18” but learned the hard way.

with the 5mm spacer, his effective spec is 19x10.5 +38 with 255 tire.
