Feel like I got a steal of a deal on this nitrous setup. The previous owner ran it as a dry setup, but it also comes with the wet lines and nozzles.
I was already doing a retune with Eugene, so this is perfect.
So funny. I was just researching 75 shots over the weekend. The VQ37VHR handles up to 100 shot almost effortlessly as long as you avoid spraying between 4th and 5th gear (not sure why, but I saw several mention this).
Lots of old threads here on NOS. Not sure why this never caught on.
Also found alot of positive information on the JWT Pop Charger with dynos to back. Sounds like Jim Wolf (long time Nissan racer and engine builder) put a ton of research into this intake and that it outperforms the CAIs we have come to think of as the default standard.
Per my note above regarding the JWT “dual pop” (what they refer to it as) I mention above, I called them today and the CARB cert only applies to 2007-2009 models.

It seems he had Stillen gen3. I wonder if the velocity stack of the JWT intake was a major contributor or was it the shorter intake piping?
I have a 2.5 short tube intake and found a guy selling a 3" short tube intake I plan to use as part of teh intake comparison. All intakes will use the same filter is my plan.
I’m taking this car to grave with me when I die of old age. lol.
I hate to admit it, but I am following the same path to some degree. I try to get excited about a replacement, but then I find myself looking for a replacement that is my car plus some, or entirely different from an enthusiast perspective. I find myself shopping for mini trucks I can lower, 80s-90s muscle cars I can modernize, Tacomas I can lift, and ultimately G37 Sedan/Coupe 6MTs and 370Z Nismos that I can add, not use to replace the G.
I wish I could be like most and think "this car is old and its going to become trouble soon" and unload the G for a Tesla Model 3 Performance or a Nissan Frontier PRO-4X as they are literally giving these away now since Nissan is a few quarters from bankruptcy.
now that I am seeing the full white more, I agree.
When I get my replacement fenders and hood, I'll definitely wrap it matching to the car with some exposed carbon for accent.
Makes me want to sell the carbon bumper now. lol. I don't think there's a way to partially wrap it and look good.
Don’t get me wrong, I love carbon fiber and enjoy your creativeness, energy and enthusiasm. I just hear my wife in the back of my head saying “why is that black fender on your car, does it need to be painted” :-) I have seen some really tricked out coupes with CF fenders and hoods. My OCD would get the best of me trying to keep it clean and shined. We all see the world through a different lens that is refracted based on our past experiences, and many times the combination of the two is reflected in our vehicles.
