You made a good decision going with 2.5". Un-resonated?
I bought my FI exhaust used and it was the 2.25" piping with 18" resonators. I wished it was 2.5". I feel like my car is pretty quiet even under WOT. 0 rasp and 0 drone even with my ISR Test pipes so I can't complain too much.
Who will be tuning you once you put the 3" intakes on? Which 3" intake did you buy?

going with RZG Motorsports 3 inch intakes.. they take about 5 days to make and ship.. if I have the time I’m going to get them ceramic coated..

What made you decide to change your mind?
Do you plan on dynoing to see if they really make a difference?

So just 3 weeks ago you were talking negative about 3" intakes saying they weren't worth the extra $ over other intakes like the stillen gen 3s that you currently have.
What made you decide to change your mind?
Do you plan on dynoing to see if they really make a difference?

my intakes are pretty beat up and are close to having holes in them after 7 years of rubbing on the car .. so do i spend 500 for new stillen gen 3 again or send a few bucks extra and go 3 inch from RZG. so i went this route with the Cam
so yes i will be testing the Stillen Gen 3 intakes against the 3 inch intakes for results...
i have also heard RZG 3 inch intakes were tested against Admin and made more power ..but again no dyno results just someone saying it ..
i will have the Dyno results to prove if they are worth it or not..

640 for admin intakes is expensive compared to 500 for Stillen...i asked my tuner about people who went to 3 inch intakes and he said Minimal gains 5-10whp some lost power...

I tried asking rzg about their intakes vs admin. They told me they both performed similarly. I thought it was odd that RZG even sells admin intakes on their website and asked them about that. They just told me they wanted to offer people options.
I agree $640 + $130 pcv delete kit is expensive for the admin intakes.
if I had known about RZG I would have went that route instead. They're only $590 including the pcv delete kit and the wait time is only 1 week vs 1 month. Nearly $200 saved right there.
im waiting on ecutek to get me the correct software so I can get my car tuned. Apparently I have a unsupported ecu calibration ID according to ecutek software.

you don't have to use there PCV delete kit you can make you own for 1/4 of the cost like im going to do i think it cost me like 30 bucks to make it..
yeah i had that same issue when i switch to ECUTEK thankfully seb got a email right away and got mine done in a few hours...
i hope some new features are out since i haven't retuned my car in a few years...
