Nice that you found a shop that really knows their stuff, that can't be over stated.
Also glad you're at a drop that will work w/ your FCAs, don't want to push it again until the problem can be fixed, if indeed they can get that done.

Love this thread!

Thanks! That was with about a half tank of fuel and without me in the car. I carry a mesh "toolbox" in the trunk with a small tool kit, spanner wrenches and a few other random things as well.

Unfortunately I'll never be able to go any lower safely with these Z1 arms. Once we close on our house I'm going to be in the market for new FUCA's. These newer SPC's definitely look interesting:

Top Speed exhaust is on. Surprisingly good fitment. I had no issues whatsoever, save for an incorrect tip clamp. Top Speed is sending me a new one 2 day air. Without the tips the exhaust was way too loud and droned badly, but with the tips now on I am loving this exhaust. Very exotic note. These VQ's sound so good!

Made a few passes at the track this weekend and snapped a couple pics. Best pass was 13.66 @ 101.89 with a 1.98 60 foot. I was hoping for a better trap, but it is what it is. I battled some 2nd to 3rd gear shifting issues and I'm going to dive into that this week. I'm sure it's time for a fluid change after 113k miles.

I still haven't had time to install them. Those are just the stock fog housings with nothing in them LOL. I've had the projector fogs for several weeks now, but just bought a house and that has been consuming all of my free time. I'll throw them in eventually. I just bought them off ebay:

Decided to keep the car. I got really burnt out with the overly loud Top speed exhaust and noisy BC coilovers so I put the car mostly back to stock. I recently picked up some OEM G37 Coupe 18's and put some Michelin MXM4's on them. Also found a Tanabe Axle back and Eibach springs for a 09 and earlier G37x. Tanabe axle backs are on. I want to order some poly rear spring isolators to install on the rear springs before I throw them on to help with the droopy bum.

You just confirmed what I've been considering regarding exhaust. Some of them sound so good, but I could see myself getting tired of them. Been considering just getting an axle-back setup just for a touch more volume and more grumble.

The top speed exhaust was insane. I felt like a total ricer. It wasn't terrible inside the car, but driving under tunnels and bridges made me so glad my windows were tinted... The welds on the mufflers starting looking pretty crappy after a few short months as well and I wasn't really happy with that. You definitely get what you pay for. These Tanabe mufflers are NICE.

Too bad that TS wasn't a good mod for you, luckily mine has been exceptional, maybe because I was one of the first and quality may have downgraded as time went on??

Glad your happy w/ your current setup, can't deny the Tanabe build quality.
